....really is a family run business, with involvement and contributions from three generations of the family. With family ethics and a passion for our local community at the core of our business, we hope that this shows through in our publications and in our dealings with our advertisers and suppliers.
Our aim
...has always been, and will always be, to produce publications that are useful, meaningful and entertaining to the people who read them. In this way, the magazines become an effective medium for local businesses to promote themselves.
So how did it all start?
...in a nutshell, it was the age old problem of a Mum trying desperately to find work which fit around the school hours of her seven year old daughter and still managed to provide job satisfaction... And so the Ossett Review was born, but what started as more of a hobby, soon took on a life of it’s own. Within two years the number of pages had doubled, the circulation was upped, the distribution area extended and a sister publication, The Wakefield Review was launched. To manage the expansion, we had to move into new premises in Ossett Town Centre and take on new members of staff to help keep things running smoothly.
With great plans for our Ossett and Wakefield Reviews and with new publications in the pipeline for 2008, we haven’t really started yet!! Contact us today to find out more about our publications.
